Welcome to the Guilderland Central High School Class of 1985 Web Site

Hello GCHS alumni,

We created this site to help organize our 20th reunion in 2005. If you were there, you know what a blast we had. If you weren't, we hope to see you next time.

About this web site... Due to hacker problems, we've now disabled most of the functionality. This is just here for those of you who do a web search for "guilderland 1985" or whatever got you here.

We don't know yet if there will be a 25th reunion. Are you interested in helping organize one? Somebody needs to take charge; that could be you. Let us know if you're interested and we'll help get you started.

If you'd like to be informed of Guilderland High School class of 1985 news and events, the best way is probably our email list. To get on it, or to update us with your current contact info, please send an email to reunion /at/ guilderlandclassof1985.com and we'll get you on there.

Hope you're doing well,
Dave Cheng

It is with sorrow that we pass along the news that one of our fellow graduates, Allan Miller, passed away last Friday.

You may have noticed his absence at our recent reunion. Allan had been fighting ALS (better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), and was unable to attend.

We're going to take $100 from the money we raised at the reunion and donate it in Allan's name to the ALS Center at St. Peter's Hospital.

Below is the text of the obituary appearing in today's Times Union:

GCHS Class of 85 News Welcome to the GCHS Class of 1985 Web Site

Hello Guilderland web surfers,

This is the once and future site of the Guilderland Class of 85's virtual community. As the page develops over time, we'll use it to keep in touch, share resources, and all sorts of good stuff.

Think of it like Classmates.com, but without membership fees and all those annoying advertisements.

But even more importantly, this site will be the hub of information as we plan our 20th anniversary reunion.

Watch this space for more news as things develop.
